In art, as in life, you choose: either a collection of meanings, or a sequence of absurdities. What do you prefer?

“Fisherman on Aldebaran`s moon”,
Acrylic on canvas, 80×60 cm
«Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent…»

“Ahimsa”
Acrilic on wood, 40×60 cm
This is Ahimsa. The symbol of non-resistance to evil. Behind this seemingly simple and weak stance lies a wise power and great courage. The courage not to answer evil with evil. Not to multiply evil. It is a conscious courage to take on evil and dissolve it within oneself. This does not stem from submission. It is a manifestation of a higher power. This is never easy. Ahimsa will always be an easy target for evil. Always. That is its destiny. And despite this, Ahimsa remains Ahimsa – a conscious non-resistance to evil.
The painting also demonstrates the reverse side. The hands of those who inflict evil upon the weak will always be stained with the victim’s blood. Always. Even if they do it through the hands of others. Whoever has taken up a nail or a gun – the blood is on your hands. For ever…
“The birth of the evil”
Acrylic on canvas, 60×60 cm
When did evil appear in the Universe? The Bible says it was the most powerful angel – one who desired to be like God. At what moment did this thought occur to him? And can we understand for ourselves at what moment this thought arises in us?.. Buddha regarded evil as ignorance. Yet, it exists – just as good does. “In the beginning, darkness was shrouded in darkness”.
How is it possible for evil to suddenly emerge amidst universal love? Perhaps you know? I do not yet know…

“Triumph of Death”
Acrylic on canvas, 60×80 cm
Look closely at this face. It is the face of Death. Yes, it does not resemble the traditional danse macabre. This is a living face. Perhaps calm, perhaps meditative. Maybe drifting in a light slumber, yet ready to open its eyes at any moment. What will that gaze, fixed directly upon you, hold? Malice? Coldness? Or perhaps… Hope? Or Love?
Death is as inevitable and natural as life itself. It is the other, essential part of being. Could it be that Death is simply a wise Guide to another, more beautiful, fair, and open world? Sooner or later, she will look at each of us. And what will she behold in our stare?”
